How long did you go away for how long were they sat in run off ?
Are you saying they were healthy and then after leaving in run off for however long they ended up like this ?

It’s possible you have caused a root problem and that can end up with a locked out plant.
As you use canna I’d be looking to use some rhizoctonic and cannazym to help with that.

Cal/mag is actually a remedy. It helps the plant uptake all the other nutes better and contains trace elements.

So my advise is still the same.Get the room temp up and give more food.check water temp isn’t too cold.keep ph in range.

    ………Don’t leave in runoff
Just 3 days but I did leave them in a lot off run didn’t want them to dry out. So I good run through with a little feed and a good ph that will sort the issue.

    Ahhhh that’s not good dear.

So are you saying you had to go away for 3 days and as you didn’t want the plants to dry out you filled the trays with solution ? And said solution was still there on return ?

You have starved the roots of oxygen which may mean they are locked out.

Ph in the rootzone could be off also,I’m not a fan of testing run off but doing that would give some idea.

A flush through with a low nute mix correctly ph,d.Then back to a regular feed with extra cal/mag would be my suggestion.

Sorry I've not been well so didn't respond sooner. That said you're in Beth's capable hands (who knows more than I probably ever will) so not much I can add.

Unlike Beth I religiously measure my runoff EC. 2.9 is exceptionally high for coco runoff in my experience. Even when mine's gone to 2.1 I start to see plant impact.

The flush you did and then following Bethmeg's advice is good. As I use RO water I Calmag to 0.4 every feed regardless in coco under LED. I've read too many horror stories in coco not to do it and I've had absolutely zero issues since I started doing it. Just note I'm a complete novice at this but almost all the grow diaries and advice I've seen says to add clamag.

My tap water Ca is over 350 and my Mg is under 1.5. I couldn't find any definitive rules or recommendations on what a "good" amount of Mg is in tap water but as I said I RO all my water now so it's somewhat irrelevant to me.

    Good luck

Just because your water is naturally 0.4 doesn't mean it actually has the right amount (or in fact any) magnesium in it.

Aside from Bethmeg's advice (which is spot on) you might need to actually find out what's in the water to be sure what you're starting with if you're getting issues.

My water, despite being 0.5 out of the tap has next to no magnesium in it but very high calcium according to the local water authority analysis. I was having so many issues with it I just went RO in the end and all those issues disappeared. The assumption and advice on the wider Internet might be ok but it's bad to assume it's always right for all.

Following Bethmeg is however a good rule

Everyone should know what's in their tap water when mixing nutrients. What's in it depends not only the water source (well. reservoir, etc.) but the geology of the region.
