    13.99¢/kWh
My sanity starts to suffer if I go to long without growing, right now its affordable to grow inside, if our prices skyrocket to anything close to Ice's or Doink's then I would have to find a guerilla spot for an outdoor grow.

What's worse is we're being told that the prices will be increasing even more!..lots of people and their families all over the UK will be (and some already are) struggling to make ends meet.

0.19 us when I add the delivery charge to the electric charge. I have a lot of solar panels so I pay under $100 on the worst months and $30 on good months.

I really don't know much my electric bill went up, but it doesn't matter no how I'm going to grow anyway. Helps me keep my sanity.
    Solar panels are an option.

With the 5% vat, it's now £0.30 kw/h for me. I changed to 2 x 95w led and an AC Infinity S4 just in time. Previously 315w cmh and an 8" rvk @ 40%.

Although my grow style is very much hands off, I tend to go downhill when I haven't got a grow on. If the prices get real high, I'll probably end up doing only photos vegged 12/12. (With a 'don't flower' 6w led 24/0.) That gave me a gram a watt with the cmh. Even if the leds only do the same gpw, 190g 3 times a year is plenty for me these days.

I heard on the news last night that next month the cost of electricity goes up across the country with 3 states getting a 50% increase and 4 states getting a 40% increase.
I decided on a propane tank for the new house. Was worried it was a bad idea. But 2.5k a year on gas to run the oven, dryer and heater will end up being a smart choice.

I don't have solar panels yet but several houses in my neighborhood have them. Am I correct in assuming solar power is indeed cost effective in the end?
