    But.... maybe just enough to power to run the fridge? I have 52 panels with the goal of 16k kwh annually to match my usage. I wanted more but around my parts, the zoning rules don't allow more than your anticipated annual usuage.. they won't let me completley cover both roofs to turn solar into actual extra money in the bank.     Edit... i think its a goal of 16mwh per year. Not 16k kwh.

    They all have different temperature requirements, some will loose efficiency in freezing temps and some will be damaged(maybe only if charging in freezing temps).
