Default Answered: High temps at seedling stage

Hi everybody! I've started a new grow @mentor section, but my mentor has been away from this forum for few days so I have to ask here...
So, my seeds became seedlings yesterday, but unfortunately I will get temps around 30 for the next 7-10 days. How bad that is for my babies?

That is a bit too hot mate, can you not reduce the temp a little?

Have you PM'd Sam about this grow (as he requested? - I'll PM him too )

It's be a struggle to keep temps around 27-28 day and night whole next week so can anyone tell how fuck'd am I? Those was my last seeds, so if there a chance that they die because of those temps i have to order more.

If there in a good size pot 1ltrs+ and you don't let the soil dry out they will be fine, seeding can take upto about 35c if the humidity is not too low 50+
Low humidity and high temps will kill the seedling

you can put any clear container over the seedling to increase humidity.
Run the light 18h a day, have them off over the hottest part of the day

Add ice in a container under a progator lid( can you any clear container) next to the seedling, this will bring the temps down and increase the humidity.

I agree with others it's not ideal but they'll be fine.

If your using hydro keep an eye on your ec hot weather transpires more water increasing the ec at the root zone.

Am on the diary now fella

Good advice above thou, if you can run your lights 18/6 but have your dark period during the hottest part of the day, that will help a little. Just give them a spray with a water bottle a couple of times a day as well.

Currently have seedlings running too mate and been clocking 31.4 between 6-12pm, haven’t had any issues yet. I’ve found as long as you’ve got the airflow and you keep an eye open for any heat stress they’ll be alright (first started growing l running a 600w hps in a 2x2x5.5 which was way too much, tent and that was some seriously high temps and it was probably a massive fire risk as I had no proper fan, still managed to pull a few autos through flower in that)

I had gotten a poster with some seeds once, it had a flowering plant on top of a cold looking mountain with the caption “it will grow anywhere”
