    Default Living soil

A friend of mine swears by this. I was about to go down the NFT route and he talked me out of it saying he gets major results with living soild and rarely needs nutes...

Anyone have any experience with this?

That is true. Living soil provides nutes to the plant for some time but it needs to be reamended when thr soil runs out. When depends on how big your growpots and light and so on

I dabbled, but yeah the possibilities are endless, you can really make the soil work for you. If youre a soil grow and have the resources then i say hell yeah. Bigger initial investment but once you have everything it lasts for a long time, very little maintenance.

For years I have mixed my own soil with sand and dry nutes from my DIY shop, I do top dress couple of times but I pull some large crops.
You need large pots 30ltrs+ or you will run out of food and need to top dress the plants.

Most issues with living soil is container being too small. Or using a bad recipe or mix. Otherwise, if you have the space it is the best way to go imho.

My next grow will be 90 liters per plant. That should be enough life to take them to finish if I don't let the plants exceed the half kilo yield range.

I grew using nft for several years then moved to soil. I struggled growing in soil using mineral nutes so am now growing in living soil and I love it. It's so littlew work cheap to run and the plants are so gappy. I have a diary running in the Grow Diaries if you want to see how I am doing it.
