    Default Grow Room Fire Safety

Evening all, with the recent high temps and wildfires burning across Europe I’m interested to hear what measures everyone has in place to prevent/extinguish fires in their groom?

Short of shouting fuck it I’m out, I’ve got nothing in place and I would rather not burn my house down so any little gadgets or tips you guys use and recommend would be great

I would encourage all members to only grow when they have an automatic Fire extinguisher...seriously It's not worth the risk growing without one bud.

I have a a couple of automatics, and a manual for good measure

Well guess I’ve been a dumbass! Have just added one to my cart but will be a couple of days before I can buy it, have a few fire blankets and a fire alarm in the room… think I also have an old CO2 fire extinguisher in my shed, but it’s years old and I have no idea if it’ll even work
Thanks for the advice guys, probably saved me from some serious devastation

Interesting that this has come up. I had to do a teardown the other day and checked my extinguisher gauge

Weirdly enough, 95% the grow your own weed sites (not forums) pretty much skip over fire safety in grows
Sure it’s common sense in most cases, but would’ve still been handy for them to link/recommend products
Glad I bothered asking after watching the news, hopefully have one in about a week
