In our summer I regularly suffer shade temps of 35C but in the open sun it can register 45C to 55C. I've actually walked in a salt pan that registered 65C in the truck with the windows open. You MUST find a way of getting that leaf exposure temp to less than 35C. Otherwise you'll never have a solution to any other problem. Use shade cloth, leafy twig branches in a 'tent" or what ever. But until you get that temperature down you'll lose. No point in messing around with nutes and water if ya dont get that temp down. Any plant of any kind can't suck up enough cooling water to replace the water it transpires at the temperature - unless its Australian saltbush. 50C in the sun, that's Sahara Desert or Death Valley stuff - in winter!
