Is 12/12 OK for Autos?

Would like your opinion Ice. George has 1 CJ seed left which he of course is happy to share. George is suggesting that I run his Anesia Seeds Rainbow Donut Auto instead since there is a diary due for the freebies. While I am happy to grow this delicious looking strain I think that CJ would give us a better baseline since we have a lot of existing CJ data. I average 4oz in 5 gallons for CJ and lots of others on the forum have grown it. Thoughts?

Yeah as good of a suggestion that is from GEORGE, I think using that CJ would be the most ideal, as you say it would give us a much better baseline and we have a lot more community growing experience with it.

Also CD, I'd even go as far as to suggest this experiment would be worthy of it's own thread and title...I feel it's that important to warrant it and a thread we could be referring/linking to for years to come


Sucessfully growing autos with fantastic yields on 12/12?..would flip things on it's head in the auto world.

You probably could grow autos just as big on 12/12 for flower. They dont spend a whole lot of time growing from what ive seen, just towards the end.

I agree Ice. It is dedicated thread worthy. I'm worried that only 1 seed available might end in a failure. I have had bad luck germing recently. I'll definitely give it a go. When I get home I will go through my seed stash again to make sure I am not missing a CJ. I feel like I should have 1 seed left somewhere.

I'll check my stash too, I know I had some for a while but I seem to remember them all being given to winners of comps..I'll double check and if I find any, they are yours!

Farmer hasn't posted for a while, his last one was in the Pepsi Challenge thread, but he has peeked in since then, around 4 days ago, so he must just be busy, and hoping all is OK his side

You can also grow photos on a 12/12 regime from seed... takes a couple of weeks longer but may yeild better?
