It’s been a while that I’ve forgotten how to read the cheaply EC meters.
I’m loosely using a feed chart and the target conductivity is stated between 8 - 10, but doesn’t state 8 - 10 what (I’m guessing just 8 - 10 EC?) The feed chart nutrients values are all based on 10L of water, but think this also includes the target conductivity although it’s not clear. My last feed read 0486 µS/cm on the meter. (This was 1.5ml of root feed along with 0.5ml of part A and B diluted with 300ml of water calculated down from the 10L amounts stated on the chart)
From what I understand 1 EC is 1 mS/cm, so 1 mS/cm is the same as 1000 µS/cm. The meter should be looking for 8,000 - 10,000 µS/cm? So a 300ml feed should be looking for around 100 - 300 µS/cm? I want to make sure I’m not getting my wires crossed. The root feed is a few years old
