If you had linked Spiderfarmers website it would have been different, but Ebay does not pay the Talk for ad revenue.

Yeah bud, we do allow ebay ID numbers, which is probably what you remembered GEORGE, but Deku is correct with the no external linking to them.

From the same place. Will this give me a decent amount of light or should I just buy another another of the one I've got?
I know I've mentioned this before, but I really, really dislike how they continue to falsely claim their lights to be 1000w & 1500w etc, many growers have fallen victim to it, and although we should all be vigilant in reading the 'small print', I still find it to be disgraceful tactics.

The way I see it..we all get the sale pitches thrown in our faces, all over the place and it's difficult to know who to trust when searching online for any new product, BUT we're all growers here on THCtalk, and ultimately there is no better way to search for lights than to see what the GROWERS actually use and you can see how well the plants are doing under their lights, which is MUCH better than relying on a company just throwing numbers at us.

Have a look around the forum, see what the members here actually use, ask questions, make a list and see which suits your budget

Is the talk not sponsored by Invisible Sun anymore? I started in a 2.5x2.5x5.5 using their ISH170 and they’ve always smashed it, in a bigger tent now so considering upgrading for flowering as 170w is lacking a bit in a 3x3

I’ve always avoided eBay/amazon for lights. Tried it once with a HPS before I’d even bought a tent, had no idea what quality it would be (cost £50 for the reflector, a 600w HPS and a metal magnetic ballast but I just didn’t have the money for anything else). The ballast was s**t quality, came dented and made an electrical humming noise as soon as it had power and probably was inefficient as hell

Directly from a brand is usually best, although it comes with the bigger price tag you also get the peace of mind that you got what you paid for… I’m currently learning that lesson with cheap eBay meters lol

They're not a sponsor here any more litty but you're absolutely free to share your thoughts and recommend any LED, or growing product you have experience with here on the Talk, wether they're sponsors or not

I have the SE 3000 as well, spider farmer give me. It pulls 307 watts, I think that is over kill for 4 sqft, but would be all right on half @ 150 Watt, and you would have A good light for A bigger tent, such as A 9sqft or bigger later on. Like Deku Nut says, you can't go wrong with spider farmer.

Just so you will know, the 301B Light was the start of the newer LEDS, and they have only gotten better since then. If money is A problem at the movement, the older Spider Farmer 1000W 301B 100 True watt is A great buy @ 70 bucks for 4 sqft. Happy Growing.

I'll be getting the lamp on Monday, so will use the next couple of days finding a better option. I doubt I'll ever go over 2 photo plants, so I'm guessing a true 100w would be enough with my other one?

I found this from one of the sponsors. It's sort of in budget (if I can persuade the wife) but only 95w. I'll keep looking and try Spider Farmer too.

    EDIT:

I think I have found the one: https://spiderfarmer.co.uk/products/...h-dimmer-knob/
