At this point they should just send a new light, whilst collecting the one you can't use. Imo.

Actually the quality control is so pathetic they ship out incomplete sets. It's probably time to give up on all Chinese made light manufacturers. What an incredible waste of resources to send you out something without even inspecting it first.

However you did not send the 8 screws required to fit the brackets to the LED Strips. As your aware these LED Strips are assembled and distributed with the brackets in place.

As you can see from the photos, even if I did have the screws their clearly is no holes / threads for said screws to attach to? Are they situated within the rails that the brackets sit flush on ? Is their supposed to be a fixing nut within the LED assembly? If so I most definitely won't be taking the LED strip apart. Surely this will Invalidate your 5 Year Warranty?

I'm really not happy here with this £600 brick and most definitely won't be happy with waiting another month for 8 screws that I simply have no clue where they go.

I suggest the LEAST you can do in this unfortunate situation is to send me FROM THE UK 2 replacement LED Strips with the 4 brackets attached

    Kind Regards

I think you have been very patient with this matrixdts, more than most would be and this whole situation should and could have been avoided by just having the entire LED replaced for you from the UK in the first place, I genuinely don't think this has been very fair on you at all.

I have contacted SpiderFarmer again today, politely requesting they send out a new LED for you, since the missing parts have arrived with no screws or holes, so basically unusable..and I can only hope they do this ASAP, but ultimately that's their choice.

Like others have said though, you're absolutely in your right to want a refund too, so I can understand if you would rather take that option.

    Keep us updated.

Thanks as always ICE, yes it would have saved all this hassle for both parties involved, I think I would be quite embarrassed at this point if the shoe was on the other foot. Oh well we will see what tomorrow brings when they respond. Thanks again ICE

Just get you some small Metal screws. You don't need to drill anything, the split looks like it lines up with the screws. Good luck man. I would take out one of the other screws and take it to the hardware store and get the exact same thing.
