Default Can anyone please tell me why my plants are dying?

    Using autopots with just coco.

RO water, with canna mono calcium and magnesium, then full line of canna nutes at strengths recommended on their grow guide charts. PH 6.0.

Everything seemed pretty good until 2 weeks ago (apart from being stunted after being too aggressive topping) when I thought they were getting a nitrogen deficiency.

Leaves were turning light green to yellow to very pale from bottom up.

I ordered some canna mono N and added that, few days go by and they look worse.

So I remove the plants from their trays and decide to flush them in case its a nutrient lockout. I do hear people claiming its madness using 100% recommended canna nute strength but I've never really had an issue before.

So I flushed with pure RO (non phd) until run off was down to 0 almost. The first bits of the run off were off the charts on my ec stick so assumed this was probably the issue.

Refilled my tanks with half strength nutes and set them to go again. Plants have just continued to look worse and worse over the last week.

Was my issue not flushing with nutes? Not flushing with PHd water? Or was it just too late before I did anything and they were screwed regardless.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Can take closer more detailed pics if needed

Yeah A and B base, with cannazym, rhizotonic, and boost. And PK when needed (other grows)

EC basically following their grow guide exactly so was up to 2.2ec before I flushed it all and refilled with half strength, so currently at about 0.8 as I thought they were onto the next stage (1.6 recommended by canna)

PH was at 5.8 veg and early flower, now up to 6 for last few weeks.

I was imagining after flushing and feeding with a lighter mix theyd at least show some sign of improvement but its been a week at least now I think.

Also refilled again yesterday but used canna cal mag rather than mono cal and mag to see if that made a difference.

    It hasnt so far.

Forget canna feed charts you need to go on the Ec and what the plants requirements are....Flush the pots with tap water 3 x the pot size in volume...Resume feeding with an Ec of 1.2 and pH @ 5.8...Use tap water to make up your feed solution forget the RO, don't add any other additives just use A & B...Best to top feed, run to waste with around 15% runoff daily till the plants recover then go back to auto if you want...They should look better in around 5ish days...Gone a bit overboard with the defoliation on a couple of them which will hinder recovery...

OK thank for the advise mate.

As I said they were flushed last week but with non PH RO water, flushed down to 0 ec but I just put them straight back on a fresh mix at 0.8 ec 6ph and just carried on getting worse.

Ill try just A and B from the top and disconnect it all tomorrow

You think it was a lockout that caused it then?

Still do a flush so you know for sure you are starting with a fresh slate/clean medium because the plants will leach some of what they cant use back into the medium. This will become concentrated in auto-pots because of the stored nutrient solution which is why I said top feed/water run to waste...Yeah Id say lockout due to overfeeding, you get salts and toxins build up and then the plants start to shutdown, stop feeding in an attempt for self preservation then it just builds up in the medium...Problem is, the plants still need the water for hydration and to transpire so they have to digest (for want of a better word) or process some of the toxic soup just to stay alive...90% of issues we see on here are due to over feeding...
