Making infused oil?

Hey guys. I'm going to have a go at making some cannacaps, problem is I have neighbours, so will need to do the decarb at about 1am to minimise anyone smelling it.
I've heard of decarbing in the oil (which would be better as I can make the oil in the room the tent is in) but not to sure, anyone tried this?
Also if I do decarb in the oven, do I have to use it straight away, or can I keep it for use the next day?

You can decarb and use it latter. I like to decarb on a shallow pan covered with foil, which may help with the smell, I do it to hold in the terpenes. from lab testing I've done it seems to work a bit.

I'll make sure to wrap it up. Might put on a pan of water and fabric softner as well to mask the smell, think it was Bethmegs idea.

Alright, the decarb was done last night. Around 115-125c for about 45min.
Didn't smell as bad as I thought it would, the pan of softner worked well. Or maybe I just became nose blind

On to step two.........

Made the Caps today.
I used a beaker in the crock pot, at first I had water in the bottom, but after about 3 hours it was only at 65c, so I fucked the water off and managed to get it around 83/89c. It seemed to hold fairly steady at that temp for around 4-5 hours, stirring about every half hour. It was then strained through some cheese cloth and syringed into the 00 caps.
I think if these are a success I will need to get a filling machine, I did make a little ghetto cap holder out of some cardboard but, fuck

I have. I'm not sure they're effective.
Took one about 2 hours ago, didn't feel anything after half an hour, so I took another one. That was about an hour ago and I'm not really sure.
