Default Wind burn on 2 of my plants.

I've just noticed today 2 of my plants the tallest have got some wind damage/theyre not happy with the fan being as powerful as it is. I've got it on the lowest setting and have no repositioned the fan so it's not directly on the plants but my question is, is it better to put the fan inbetween the canopy and the light? or is it better to have the fan push air from underneath below the canopy? (the plants are lolipopped)
    Any advice is appreciated

You want your fan to move the plant leaves around, mainly to keep mold spores from landing.

I have a couple of ocilating fans blowing between the light and the canopy pointing down slightly, so the leaves russle a bit, as Jingo says.

Yeah that's what ive just set up between the canopy and lights, issue is lack of training meaning the main cola is way too high so i cant really put the oscillating fan blowing on the canopy without nuking the top colas. My fan even on the lowest speed is too powerful/too close in the tent to be used directly on these few lanky plants.

Maybe raise the fans if you can, or increase the extraction?

Unlike most who successfully use one or more circulating fans, I just point a 9 inch fan down towards the floor in the center of my tent. It provides plenty of circulation from the ground-up.

Could you try bigger ducting on the exhaust of the fan? If you have a 6” fan blowing air through an 8” duct, it should still be the same airflow in total, but more spread out

Stole that advice from a sound reduction post I made a while back, it was the other way around for me but if I understood it all correctly that should work

id happily put up with a few leaves getting damaged,

the last thing you want is bud-rot/mold on your girls due to build up of moisture that isn't getting removed due to no air movement

i've an 18'' fan with my girls, wouldn't grow without it
