    Default White tents - anyone got one?

    Just through an ad I saw last week regarding white tents specifically for LED lighting. Apparently provides better spread and coverage. Anyone got one that could confirm whether it’s a better one for LEDs?

    I cover one once in White, and I think BudLightYear has one as well.

    I have a Homebox which is white and an ACIninity which is silver.

    Can't say I've noticed any difference in practice but the Homebox is 80*80 and the ACInfinity was 60*60 so it's really hard to tell. I find the material is canvas like and I'm imagining it's "sweaty" but I'm suffering very high RH at the moment and it's probably just an illusion.

    Not much help I appreciate.

    I have the bud box pro in white mate. But I can not confirm wether it’s better coverage from LEDs because I simply do not know how too? it does seem a lot brighter in white that silver though

    This is in no way 'definitive proof' on which is better in terms of reflectivity, but I remember watching this video years ago which compares 'the most common reflective finishes used in grow rooms' and a good starting point to perhaps look into further for those interested ;

    Results from this particular test ;

    Test results for HPS setup (LED is very similar)

    Quantume (PPFD) sensor reading for the following setup:

    No walls: 640 PPFD
    Wooden wall: 680 PPFD (5% increase)
    Matt white wall: 750 PPFD (20% increase)
    White mylar wall (same as gloss white paint): 750 PPFD (20% increase)
    Silver Mylar (generic): 800 PPFD (27% increase)
    Silver Mylar diamond pattern: 800 PPFD (27% increase)

    I have tested a significant improvement in LUX and Par when adding reflective materials. The more coverage the better the readings. But never tested white vs mylar. I imagine there are many different quality whites just like different quality mylar. Still have trouble believing I could get a better reading on white vs a decent mylar. Makes me want to run a test .

    You can get A roll of Plastic and line your tent or make lining for A homemade box. This roll is white on one side and black on the other. Black side is great for blocking out sun from windows.

    I have just got a BudBox Pro White Grow Tent 150cm x 150cm x 220cm to go with a ZEUS 600W PRO 2.9 Light, after searching around the net for a good week.
    The white tent was recommended for led lighting as can give a 30% better spread and coverage, which i found was confirmed in many differant places.
    Im hoping it is true as the white version was £40 more than the silver version. (it does look better in white tho)

    I really can't see the difference being as much as 30%,maybe between a wooden wall and white it's 30% difference but no way is white 30% brighter than mylar.
