That sounds normal for A 4-week flower.

id be more worried about mold/rot being in the rain than the pistols turning brown,
especially if it isn't drying asap

When it's ready to harvest the pistil turns brown.

If you're not watching the trichomes then when the pistils turn brown and curl back into the plant then it mite be ready.
Another 4 weeks you should be good to go.

From what I've learned over time, pistil color or change has very little to do with harvest time. Trichomes tell the story. You need a jeweler's loop. They're relatively cheap at grow shops. Notice that you see hardly any pistils on this bud. It's just over 4 weeks old and never really had pistils on top. deep inside there are pistils. They are all white. The trichomes are mostly milky with less than 5% amber. We just got 2 inches of rain yesterday and it's raining again right now. Once it stops (which it is supposed to do today) I will hose then down with Pure Crop 1 to try to keep the bud rot away.

the pistols pop out, don't get pollinated, turn brown then new pistols appear 'calyx stacking'
definitely don't go by pistol color as the window to harvest,

as above, the trichs tell the true story of ripeness,

Here's a shot of a bud that is nowhere near ready to harvest. It's about five weeks in. Three more to go.
