I'm extremely saddened to read this, my sincere condolences go out to you and your family. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us all know here, a very thoughtful thing to do under the circumstances.

Farmer G was someone I held a lot of respect for and I know was respected by the entire community, although we didn't have the pleasure of knowing him on a personal level, after doing this for many years now you can tell the good from the bad characters that come and go, and your father was one of the good guys, very intelligent and respectful.. someone who when posting, many took notice as he always had his own unique perspective that many took onboard.

He is missed, and will always be remembered very fondly here at THCtalk.

Rest In Peace Farmer G, I'll be rolling one tonight for you.

RIP Farmer.. I try to remind myself when thinking of death that we ALL reconverge back into the fold eventually, nobody escapes this fate. This somehow comforts me when death befalls somebody that I know or love. Tragic only to the living..

I have only had a few interactions with FarmerG, and didn't really "get to know" him myself, but found it interesting to read his writings no doubt. Sharp, witty, unapologetically plain fella who never seemed to front a fascade. I have much respect for somebody willing to just be themselves, despite the world. Hopefully his time in this physical manifestation will be revered by all that knew him.
