I cannot get an electrician to wire me a new socket into where my grow is going!
I have everything at the ready been waiting weeks on replies.

Can I run an extension into the cupboard ? I know I shouldn't

As long as you use the right wire Guage for the run length you are fine. I run all sorts of big machines on cords at work. Fire department inspects and has no issues. There are online calculators that will determine the right wire Guage. If you need a wire that is heavier or longer than you can get at a regular store you have get heavy duty wire cut to size at the electric supply and then attach plug and socket.

I'm running a 600watt led. A 6" fan for extraction and a 4" for intake. I may beed a heater as its not a warm house I have.
100mm kingspan insulation made into a cupboard for my tent to go in with the fan and filter on the outside roof of the tent with insulation over the top, my tent is 1.8. So will leave enough room for the fan to be housed inside insulation.

Check the wattage on the fans. Do you have a heater picked out? Most heaters are 1500w. You want to add up all the watts for total watts and measure the distance from the power outlet to the grow cupboard. Once you have total watts and total distance you can check online. Search "wire size calculator" on Google.

I was hoping a couple of tube heaters around the 200watt mark would work.
Thanks, I will go and work it out.

I've heard good things about the tube heaters. Never tried them because I never have to heat my loft grow. Even in the winter when it's snowing outside I need to run the AC.

I take it you had the sockets installed looks good if your using a 600w hps I think you need a Contactor switch or it will blow your board if I'm wrong some please pull but sure I'm right what I had to do and I run cooker wire from the board to the grow area not cheap and I'm gonna have to get armored cable for the new shed gutted
