    Default Cold Weather help

Hi! I have planted my first crop this year. Started in pots on April 22. Mid May I planted my 3 Papaya Glue girls into the ground. Cold weather is coming. Right now the temps reach lows of 40-45 and highs 70-75. I believe I am close to harvesting. Maybe a couple of weeks out? But I am afraid the temps will drop even more. So, my question is: Do I harvest now, or wait and protect these girls from frost should it get that low?

I also have some spots on one of my plants. Maybe someone knows what it is and what to do with it...if anything?

Go to the grocery store and pick up some boxes and cover them up during the nighttime. Or if you have some small sticks, you can build you A few boxes.

Welcome to the talk. Be sure the first morning you take the boxes off and check everywhere on the plant for any signs of mildew. That's the number one thing that gets me late season outdoors. Usually it's not a problem unless I have about 4 days of rain in a row with cold temperatures.

I've found that outdoor cannabis plants can tolerate nighttime temperatures of 40° quite well. A lot of that has to do with how warm the roots stay. But the temperatures in my greenhouse at night are all around 40 even had a few days around 39 and have been just fine.

Your plants are looking great man, nice job. AAll good info above. My plants experienced 34 in the beginning of the week. Sounds like you, Jingo, and I are all in the same situation. If it makes you feel any better I have been growing in a northern climate for a long time with alot more success then failure.

At this point I would have zero concern for my leaves and expect them to start to die off. Remember, they are annuals and meant to die. I tend to remove any diseased or stressed leaves or flower when I see them.

Welcome to the forum. Keep us updated please.

I'm in the same situation with 2 large ones.
