I never tried one but I don't like the idea of beating up the buds to trim them. Hand trimming reduces waste and give you more control.

I have thought about getting one of the manual ones, trims the same way but you turn a handle. But no, I don't yet know if they're any good so will also be interested to find out. Following.

I'm very particular with how I trim my buds, and although I know many of us here don't really enjoy it too much, I feel like hand trimming is part of that 'personal touch' that comes with home growing..it's the final stage of how YOU as a grower likes their trim.

I really like my buds neat and as short as possible, and I don't believe you can achieve that level of intricacy with these types of machines.

    To each their own though!

I feel like these make a lot of sense when you're processing upwards of 8 plants at a time. Buddy has one similar but he uses it for huge outdoor crops. He'd have no chance of harvesting in a timely manner without machinery... or a crew!

Seems to be a 'needs must' kind of thing. Trim jail isn't too bad, really.

    Cheers
