Remember you can get yourself a mentor here on thctalk to guide you. Soil or coco

I'm heavily thinking of doing just that and reaching out for a mentor. There are so many options lol. It's a minefield. I'd go coco but the extra cost of ph up and down etc that puts me off it.

I'm also questioning my nutrients now lmao.

The nutes you used for your soil grow might not work in coco. What kind do you use in soil?

You also need a propper EC and PH pen with calibration fluids for coco.

Yeah, I'll likely wait for the next grow for that. Already got a new light, extractor fan & filter, and a grow tent this time around.

I used BioBizz Bloom, Grow and Top Max for my last 1.5. I have some left over , so I was going to use them for this. I'm now thinking of changing the brand.

Ideally I'd be using what I used last time but wondering if that was what killed my last girl. My first was OK.

There's no best medium in my opinion you can get banging results in all of them once mastered. Try giving coco a go if you fancy a change, it's very forgiving and most issues are easy to rectify due to the relative fast response when adjusting feed strength and pH values.

The only thing that puts me off coco is the additional cost of Ph balancing/testing stuff.

Not to mention what to do with all that water they take, I hear 3 times A day form some people. Sounds like an awful lot of trouble.

That is in a very small container But in a regular 3-5 gal pot you only water once a day. Maaaybe twice in the end of flower but then you are so stoked that you dont mind it

I just did an entire grow in coco without using a pH/EC pen once. It was a smashing success. The trick is to use MegaCrop

I had to look at your avatar to make sure Farmer Geddon didn't post that.

    Thanks for that Barney.
