Last night the temperature hit the lowest to date at 37 F. Mushroom season will soon be dormant ‘til next spring. Here’s a few more I stumbled upon.
ORANGE JELLY Fungi
TREE LUNGWORT (Lobaria pulmonaria)
Possibly OYSTER MUSHROOM (Pleurotus) Angel Wings
TURKEY TAIL (Trametes versicolor)
GIANT PUFFBALL (Calvatia gigantea)
Note the acorn on top for size reference.
Last but not least, possibly the DEADLIEST of mushrooms to be found in my area. The DESTROYING ANGEL (Amanita bisporigera)

I think it's a male tree.
You never know what you'll come across off the trail.

Amber or Brown Jelly Fungus (Exidia recisa or glandfulosa) A fungus that can be found in the winter months.
Makes my teeth hurt just looking at them.

You or anyone else can certainly add pics any time. Only think I ask is to keep the pics as natural as possible and avoid man-made objects.
Posting pics right-side up is also recommended.

Sounds like a fair enough request, aside from the right side up thingy. I thought most people liked looking at pics with contorted necks. I'm usually pretty good at getting them right, but those ones got away from me.Great pics...thanks for posting!
