Last night the temperature hit the lowest to date at 37 F. Mushroom season will soon be dormant ‘til next spring. Here’s a few more I stumbled upon.
ORANGE JELLY Fungi
TREE LUNGWORT (Lobaria pulmonaria)
Possibly OYSTER MUSHROOM (Pleurotus) Angel Wings
TURKEY TAIL (Trametes versicolor)
GIANT PUFFBALL (Calvatia gigantea)
Note the acorn on top for size reference.
Last but not least, possibly the DEADLIEST of mushrooms to be found in my area. The DESTROYING ANGEL (Amanita bisporigera)
