    i just use large Kilner jars, stored in a cool darkened cloak room,
    i guess they would be handy after the rH stabilized and long storage needs

    Looks like a fermentation burp lid. Those use water in the top thingy. Never seen this version. But prevents stacking.

    I was wrong. The thingy on the top is a vacuume to vacuume seal the jars.

    I just use Grove bags these days,saves a ton of space.

    I just tried them and they appear good but I worry about long term storage. I have 4 year old harvests in the stainless steel with bovida and it still smokes amazing. Gets smoother over time.

    Had stuff bagged for almost a year now and it's still great.

    The one thing I don't like about the bags is the ziplock mechanisms tend to break free from the bags after I open them a few times.
