Arrest after million-pound cannabis farm busted in Dudley town centre
This was the sight that greeted police as they carried out a drugs bust in Dudley. The town centre property had been used to grow more than 1,000 cannabis plants.
Officers raided the unnamed premises on Friday afternoon (October 14). A man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.
West Midlands Police has now seized and destroyed the plants and equipment.
A tweet from the Dudley Town Police account said: "Yesterday the team conducted a warrant at a premises in the town centre. Inside we located a large cannabis factory with over 1,000 plants and arrested a male on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.
"All plants and equipment now seized and destroyed."
