So it turns out my mother in-law is a thief. This year she visited Monet’s garden in Giverny France. Where he painted the famous Water Lillie’s canvasses. While there she took some sneaky cuttings…daylight robbery.
Anyway, they rooted in tap water and we now have one on our kitchen windowsill, thought some of you might be interested.
It’s called Mona Lavender
One side of the leaves a light green, while the other side a very dark purple that almost glows in sunlight.
(apologies the dirty thumb nail)
