    Default Lights

I am setting off on my second grow. The first was a success but could have been better. Experience is the key.
Anyway can I mix light intensity? I purchased a 1000 watt full spectrum light that worked well.
Suppose I mix my 1000 watt with a 600 watt light. Will this work?

No problems with the mixing but it may affect your growth rate and coverage if you don't balance the light they're giving off. You can do this either through dimming, height of light or height of plants. Obviously the 1000w will be higher intensity and likely a wider spread.

If you don't you might find that the plants under the higher intensity light will grow faster/bigger and will make the canopy uneven. There's a lot of ifs and buts in there though depending on the exact setup, plant strains and the myriad other things that can affect what happens.

Another way you can keep ur grow a little more controlled with different wattage lights is to rotate the pots every day turn it 90 degrees and rotate the plants/pots in the opposite direction. Have had to do it when I first started growing with any budget lights I could get my hands on for next to nothing lol. I now do it whenever I’m Growing in coco as I think it helps in flower to get light penetration into the plant In different places
