Default How long is too long

Having a problem germinating one of of my female seeds here! Both the Autos germinated within 36 hours but my photo just won't crack, it's a big seed right enough but I mean how long till I start another off? I only want 1 to scrog, I know I'm being tight
    I'm scottish

how long has it been? some seeds simply take longer,
did you soak them first? did the slower seeds sink?

I only got about 10 out of 100 seeds that were 3 years old, so time on seeds matter.

It's a pain you eventually learn to live with, unfortunately.

I've had a seed I gave up on pop after about 7 days once. So, there's hope yet

    Cheers

I soaked it on Saturday until it sank, then into a wet paper towel inside a plastic bag and kept at 25?ç in the dark.

I've added another seed of the same strain now.

Sounds to me like you drowned your seed ever since I stopped soaking seeds I get 100% germ rate.

Really! I've always soaked them. I've got the new one soaking right now, if this one fails too then I will heed your advice and start another in just wet paper towel.

Only 1 of my Autos made it but it germinated I juat think I fried it with my light, the other is OK

The guys at Dutch passion actually put me onto my new method. Last 2 grows Al 12 seeds have popped when I was soaking the seeds first I'd usually have 1 or 2 per grow not sprout on me. So I had 3 Dutch passion seeds not sprout on me so I emailed them to complain and they asked me how I did it and told me I'm drowning my seeds. They also told me not to use kitchen paper to soak them in as it holds too much moisture and to use those cotton pad things that women use to take makeup off. So bassicly into those cotton pads and make them damp and into a dark warm place. I use a black dvd box and put them into my grow room and keep the temp at about 25 degrees.

They sent me me really good link with the email that explaind it all better than I have there but I can't find it I think it's maybe on there website if anyone wants to check it out.
