Nice! Thanks for the tip, man.

I went to the site, followed the link and found a Vimeo Video about it. I can't find any advertisements on Vimeo so I believe it safe to link here in case it helps others.

May have to hold control to open it in a new tab btw.

If this isn't cool, my bad. I thought it well within the spirit of sharing useful information without pushing a competitor to our lovely sponsors.

Also check out our sponsor page!

    I think I'll give it a go.

    Cheers

They also told me not to use kitchen paper to soak them in as it holds too much moisture and to use those cotton pad things that women use to take makeup off. So bassicly into those cotton pads and make them damp and into a dark warm place. I use a black dvd box and put them into my grow room and keep the temp at about 25 degrees.

They sent me me really good link with the email that explaind it all better than I have there but I can't find it I think it's maybe on there website if anyone wants to check it out.

My friend, I feel like I had a fire on my forehead, and just smashed it out with my palm.. I have literally waited for the seed to sink, never knowing you could drown them. Thanks SO much for sharing!

Thanks for that, I put them on the cotton pads and wet it, I won't drop them in water anymore.
    Silly me

Let's not go thinking that dunking seeds in water doesn't work.. it does.

This is just one of 1000 methods out there.

I agree. This particular method intrigues, mainly because I have had a tough run of seeds not popping, or popping then immediately dying. All dunked, because I read the paper towel method damaged fibers on the taproot. Not only 1000 methods, but 1000 reasons, I’m learning!

Doing a test run of this method with some throwaway seeds.

I'll follow up in 36 hours or so.

Do you use abit of root stimulant in the water you use to dampen the cotton pads?

Had some spring water in a spray bottle so just used it straight. I've never spiked the water to germinate seeds before. I've seen people use H2O2 though. I think it increases germination rates if used correctly. There's about a million links to the much repeated research online. Guess I'm too lazy for all that noise.

    Cheers

It's only been 24 hours since that post and only 36 on the wet pads but 2/2 germinated. I used a sandwich sized ziplock bag however. Just in a random drawer with no heat.

    I then ate both seeds.

Going to run it again with two more donors.
