I’m on the fence the same as a logo hear and is it fear pawn yet again to keep the brains swirling?? We had blackouts in the war so they also Know especially through covid they have a gullible notion that will do as it’s told,..example standing on red markers in Shops etc haha,.from what I was told Russia are not withholding nothing it just the west refusing to buy,..so yes fear pawn in its grandest it maybe like 95% of tripe,.also I may add the power cable lines themselves couldn’t cope with the on/off scenarios…but maybe they want that total mayhem,.we can’t put nothing past these in control.,a prime example is the state yet again we are in,,,give me the bug back pleeeeze…we could grow in peace then!!!

Surely if they cut the electric off the greedy cunts won't be making money? Unless they predict what you would have used during the outage & charge you anyway

I am off to look for a UPS for my exhaust fan

I think you guys should prepare as if this is not scare mongering. The reason is simple, all of the supply chain breakdowns came about because of government action.

Remember all governments in the world took the same actions at the same time. Some have blatantly ignored the wishes of their people over and over. Trudeau in Canada comes to mind.

This is going to continue, there is an agenda. They really don't care who they hurt and I think it's obvious by now that they're hurting a lot of people every single day.

I'm on the fence as well. I don't have enough electrical sockets near my tent to use a UPS, plus the price of energy is going up again in April.

I just got myself this little beauty to solve my off-grid heating needs. It's a used Alladin paraffin heater that cost me only £75.
I was lucky enough to find one within a 30-minute drive from my home and so I picked it up this morning and I'm well chuffed with it!
You can find these on Ebay but they are heavy and most listing are collection in person only so it's best to search using the "nearest first" filter.
Maybe these proposed power cuts are just fear porn but I have a family to look after so I'm not going to take the chance.
As the old saying goes "Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it."
Paraffin is relatively cheap and easy to get so these heaters are an excellent back up to have in your house.
Here is a helpful video that covers the pros and cons of these heaters and will help you decide if they are suitable for you.

Unfortunately they weren't joking when they warned us about power cuts they have already begun in some parts of the UK.
Large areas of the South east of England were affected earlier today please watch the below video for details and check out the links in the video description to see if you can expect them.
If you aren't prepared for this then you'd best get your skates on. If this happens when winter arrives then it can turn an inconvenience into a potentially life-threatening situation for some people.
