    Default Possibly switching to Coco?

How's it going guys. So my 4th soil grow is going to shit again and with the energy price increasing all the time I want to get as much out of my grows as I can. So I'm considering the switch to Coco.
I've come up with a hyperthetical shopping list

    PH Meter
    Calibration fluid 4/7
    Storage fluid
    EC Truncheon
PH up or down, or both?
    Canna Coco Professional
    Canna A/B
    Rhizotonic
    Cannazym
    PK 13/14

Think that's it, or have I missed something?

The cal fluid/powder should come with the meter. I only roll with ph down, depends on your water i suppose.

Looks like you have all the necessities covered

I think all of your grows have been solid btw, cant judge a grow by a couple ugly leaves. I do think you should try some better genetics than fastbuds. Theyre not terrible but i am personally not a fan. Lots have grown bangers on here from them tho

Ok, I watched an unboxing/setup of the Bluelab PH pen on youtube, saw it came with a couple of sachets of fluid, but thought I'd need more if it needs calibrating every month?

Cheers man. I really need to check out some different breeders for sure, just so many to choose from.

I can recommend Essentials PH pen and
    Bluelabs trunction.
The Essentials PH pen is easy to cal.
And the Bluelabs EC trunction for No messing about having to cal.

Everything looks ok on your list to me.

    Rhizotonic
    Cannazym
    PK 13/14

Not needed and are just icing on the cake, careful with the pk you can undo all your hard work pretty easily with that stuff.

I just use PH down, if I go a little too far down and need to up I just add more water

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

Just had a look at the Essentials Ph pen, nearly half the price of the Bluelab.

Might leave the PK then, nice tips. Cheers Mac.

Hate to see another soil grower jump over to coco. Wishing you an easy transition though, and from what I've been seeing since I started hanging out here, you are in excellent hands.

Yeah, just can't seem to get through a grow without issue in soil. Plus they're banning peat based soil over here soon, so will probably have to make the switch eventually anyway. But who knows, I might make even more of a mess in Coco and come running back to soil with my tail between my legs.
