When do you Start Counting Veg?

Hey all, quick Q,

So, when you say your plants have been x number of weeks in veg are you counting from germination or do you allow a period of time for a 'seedling' stage?

I count mine from the first time I see it above the ground.

from the appearance of nodes, but i also count the days

Germination: 1-10 days
Seedling Growth: 1-3 weeks
{Vegetative + Pre-Flowering}: 1-3 weeks
True Flowering: 6-12 weeks
Harvesting.

i more often just use the day number, saves any confusion ehh

I don't count anything...Get them to the size and shape Im looking for with whatever training method im using then flick the switch 12/12 and away we go

Few folks used to go 12/12 from seed on here back in the day...Ain't seen that done for a while.

I just want to make sure I'm interpreting it correctly when peeps describe their plants and I want to use terms consistent with what others are using.
