Default PI Grow Diary - Double Grape

I felt like this little girl deserved her own, and because her beginnings are..a bit convoluted, I figured it was easier to follow this mess separately.

    ************************************************** **
SOIL, HYDRO, COCO- started in coco, and was transplanted to soil

    STRAIN- Double Grape

    AUTO

PLANT AGE- first day above ground- OCTOBER 15

    POT SIZE- 3 gallon

    REPOTTED? WHEN?- NOVEMBER 10 & 15

SOIL TYPE- coco loco, worm castings, compost mix, perlite, and Garden Veg 4x4x4

    AIR TEMP- 23-25

    HUMIDITY- 59% - 63%

    LIGHT TYPE & WATTAGE- 24/0 Mars Hydro @ 26%,
and, not sure, but I know they’re there.

    PH LEVEL- n/a

    ************************************************** **

So, after my suicidal seed summer, I was given two Double Grapes, autos, which popped their heads up, October 15.

By day 17, one died completely, and the other just stopped.

Meanwhile, I’ve got two Golden Nugget seedlings, and 3 autos just sprouting. So I pulled the second Grape out of the tent, and just kinda left her on floor.

About a week, ten days go by, and I have not tossed this girl.. so finally, I carefully dig her out of the coco (I haven’t grown in it before successfully, anyway), sprayed off the roots, dipped her in my (now favorite hormone, secret weapon) Take Root stimulator, and repotted her in the coco loco mix that my other girls are in.

***********Quick side note, I have a hard time throwing away any potential plant or sprout (yes, I’m very pro- life when it comes to my plants). My first grow started with 5 plants, and I broke the stem on one pretty bad. Following the advice to remove her, I pulled her out, and let the other girls thrive. I removed her, but didn’t toss her. I kept that thing on life support for months.

When I finally harvested the other girls, I moved my Blue Dream back into the the tent, SCROG-ed her out, tied her up and down the submissive she is, and brought her back.

Still technically my first grow! But she ended up giving me a little over 11oz of lovely afternoon weed that I’m still enjoying. I want to learn to grow AND care for cannabis…and I’m a softy.. I have four cats that were all homeless, and I’m still married, so you kinda see my hang up on giving up on green babies.

For consistency, I’m putting her age with my other autos, which is:
    [DAY 16]
Everyone is growing a lot slower than I’d like, but I’m just amazed she’s made it this far. Lights have been dropped, everyone was rotated, and Groot is plugging away.

Autos man... Best of luck. There's not been many comments, I suspect, because your success with reviving the Blue Dream was due to it being a photo.

But I wholeheartedly think you should complete this grow AND diary and see what becomes of it.

That little stunted plant may give you a few grams to play with

    Cheers.

Some nice plants you got growing on dear.

11 oz from a single plant on your first grow ? I’d say that’s something to be damn proud of.Enjoy your harvest.

Nice photo studio too.Hope to see some beauties in the POTM comps, gotta get a girl some bling

Molasses Wednesday, and lights to 60%. Went to 25 degrees. She makes me smile. I legitimately giggle when I saw her today!

Default PI Grow Diary - Double Grape

    [DAY 29]

So, after I cleaned my tent on the last grow, I forgot to reset the lights, which had them about 55” above the girls..they have not had a fair chance…and yet..

This little one has no reason to keep holding on, I have PERSONALLY given her every handicap she WASN’T born with, and yet, still she persists.
