    Default LED Upgrade - Grow Light Science | 320 & 640

    Hello guys and dolls,

I should have addressed this a week ago, but I was being lazy. I have 3 durban poison growing and one of the three is showing a lot of white, almost fading like the leaves are loosing color - chipping off? Is this a deficiency or powdery mildew? There are no signs of this on the other plants in the same tent.
They are in Soil, fabric pots, pH 6.3 to 6.8 lots of microbs, EC averages the past two weeks have been 1.1 to now 1.8 but the white stains were there prior. I'm using tap water now, but the EC is 1.8 c
Any thoughts on what this could be?

It is much easier to spot on plants that have green leaves and there is time to trim it off before the white powder appears. Those plants like yours with purple or red leaves is much harder to spot until it is too late. When the powder shows, it is time to do some heavy trimming to try and get rid of it. Cause by being to huma. There is another way to treat it as well. You can add some firts that might help as well. jmo

    Thanks for the replies.

I tried rubbing off the white, thinking it's the powdered hard water from my humidifier. But it does not come off. It looks like the surface of the leaf might be deteriorate /spread over time.

I have the thee other plants in the same tent. I looked for similar issues on those, but they appear to be OK.
I think the humidity outlet/vent was previously very close to this plant, and that might have contributed.

What remedy should I lean towards, fungus based?

    Thank you all again.

No bugs on or under leaves. Should I destroy the gal? I don't want to mess with fungus at week 11 of flower. Seems like if it were fungus, just safer to destroy than risk it.

I was reading about surface fungus on leaves, apparently it does not spread like typical spores, but sounds like it's best to remove from the rest and move on...

The plant in question is bottom right in the group shot.
Debating to bin it now, it's almost ready to chop too. I'm not short on supply, but it still...

    Thanks,
Looks like powdery mildew to me. Sorry but I'd pitch it out.
Poor air flow is often the instigator.
