The one that i suspected a male the whole time is a female. And the smallish natural topped one i thought for sure was a female is a male. I am shocked.

Feel like these Pablos revenge are taking forever to establish their roots. Theyre also a much lighter green than im used to in other soils. May do a 50/50 mix of ro water and well water to get my ppm up

Hey Shaun, did you stop using FFOF? If so may I ask why?

Hey blue, i still use FF. Will actually be transplanting these into a soil mix where i used happy frog as a base. I like ocean forest just fine, experimenting with coast of main seedling mix and later their stonington blend, which appears to be a much more complete soil.

I was just looking on their website to get a nutrient breakdown and i saw these charts. Ive kind of out grown them because i do my own thing as far as amendments go, but i really wish i would have seen something like this when i started out. Flower really kicked my ass when i started.

I like how they included the top dress of castings to kick start everything in preparation for the flower feeding of fish bone meal they recommend. You certainly wont grow record shattering buds with this schedule but its enough to get you through the finish line

I used Coast of Maine compost for a run back in 2009. Mixed with really cheap Hyponex potting soil and perlite. It worked ok.

They have come along way since then. They weren't so canna specific back then. I would love to give it a try but the cost is
a little more then I want to pay. I can get the FFOF for $20.00 for 1.5 cubic bag right near where I live.

Glad you posted this Shaun. I am going to look into it some more.

    Cheers

No problem. The only thing that im curious about is potassium and magnesium, but that can easily be remedied with langbeinite. The bone meal has more than enough nitrogen for flower, obviously enough phosphorus, and its loaded with calcium.

And as i said before, i still love fox farms. Im guessing you feed liquid nutes after the 4th week or so. Im looking at this from a mostly water only grow, only requiring 1 maybe 2 top dress feedings in the entirety of the grow.

Actually like you, I am researching on water only grows. Think I'm going to start a worm farm. Trying to get to the point of auto watering and having
a hands off system has much as possible. Really like the feed suggestions on the COM soil. Going to use that as a starting point.
