This forum probably needs another diary from me like it needs a kick in the balls, but here we are. I have a lot going on and i dont have a dedicated thread to my 4x4, and I dont think I want one because I constantly have stuff moving in and out of there, especially during the warm months when im prepping plants to go outdoors. With me starting coco i’d also like to have a place to document my feed mixes and stuff. Been kind of abusing the ‘post a picture of your plants’ threads by noting my mixes. Lets be honest, not the place for that and nobody cares.


So without further delay, im gonna fire it up. Here’s my lab. Messy as hell but I try.

First up: SWEET CHERRY PIE

Mixed my second or so flower feeding, first one with PK boosters (Big Bud). I see now where people can get into a bad spot using pk boosters, its sludgy as hell and adds an ungodly amount of PPM to your mix. I ended up going only half strength and still had to reduce my A/B by ~8mL each. We’ll see what happens.

The girl in the 2x2 is Pie Face (cherry pie x face off og) from archive seed, in soil.
The 2 in the 4x4 sweet cherry pie (cherry pie x gelato) from sweet seeds, in coco.

I've not come across Pie Face before great name tho.

I can get a Cherry Pie from my supplier but it's from Female Seeds and it's Cherry AK x purple punch x skunk special

I searched far and wide for a straight cherry pie strain, for the life of me i couldnt find it. Always crossed with something. I chose pie face because our boy deku got me onto archive, was pretty stoked when i saw it. It was between that and sweet thang, which is cherry pie x do si dos. Ended up with the pie face because i have to be honest, wasnt all that impressed the 2 do si dos ive done.

After all that i finally discovered a breeder with a straight cherry pie. Tiki mad man had his cherry pie redux, which is true to the GDP x durban poison roots of it. Ill do that one day, have too much cherry pie as it is. Ordered some of tikis revenge so i reckon i’ll do that after the SCP gets out of the 4x 4.

I sampled some cherry cola this summer. Only cultivar I've ever been around with cherry in its name. I digress...I will be stopping in for a session now and then. Greenest of grows Shaun!
