Whitelabels... Hmm.

Let me preface this by saying that the Kirkland Brand is incredible. They go out of their way to source quality goods and they buy them at huge volumes in order to get a better price. From dress shirts to golf balls, great values. White labeling at its finest.

I reckon for a white label seed supplier to stay in business, they'd have to be somewhat reliable in their seeds. That is, you don't end up with plants that are in no way related to their descriptions. If the names were all 'TD-12377abv2.0' or something and we got out of it what we expected, then what's the issue? Fastbuds is not my favorite but I have grown out 4 or 5 of their cultivars. No surprises. Plants looked like the diaries and advertised plants. I'm fine with that. UnitedSeeds is a rebrand of a company that's been around for 13 years. You'd think they've a modicum of control over what they are doing. And have sources that know what they are doing.

Oh, how about CopyCat Genetix. They are upfront and unashamed of copying 'recipes' with their own parents. Unabashed.

I'm growing out white labels right now. After listening to this podcast, I felt icky about it for a while. Then I thought... who the fuck is this guy and what is his agenda?

We've probably all seen some incredible grows from bag seeds. If folks want to feel superior about their genes, go on ahead. I'm too high to give a rip.
