Default One Year of Growing - Haven't Stopped Since

I started growing cannabis in September 2021 and I haven't stopped since.

The old saying that you don't get addicted to weed, but you sure do get addicted to growing it could end up on my tombstone.

I'm always in search of a cannabis website to place my grow journals. I've been an amature shutterbug since junior high, so I post a lot of photos. I also track a lot of statisics.

I am just starting a grow with one plant of Blackstrap by Gnome Automatics (collaboration with Brothers Mendel). It will end up in a tent with other autos that have a 40-day head start. I have that journal in a few places, so the one I start here will be just the Blackstrap. The on-going grow is Critical Purple, Gorilla Glue and Purple Lemonade (x2). The Blackstrap broke through the Coco this morning.

Back to the introduction ... I'm a retired guy in the Midwest. For 9 years, the Navy took me all around the world and when I got out in 2000 I went home to Texas. I stayed there for about 18 years and in 2018 relocated to the Midwest. My mother and I owned a trucking company. In 2017, she died of a super rare brain cancer called primary central nervous system lymphoma (CNS).

Why would I leave a state with no income tax for one that does? It all goes back to childhood. In 1975, my new step-dad moved my mom and me to Missouri. I was here from 6th grade to high-school graduation in 1982. This place represented some of the best and happiest years of my life. I kept my core friends and visited most years from 1982 until I moved back here in 2018.

Mom's passing opened a window to start a new life. I ended up across the river in the land of high taxes. Even so, we live in out in the country where things are nice and peaceful. There's no stop sign in our town an we just got a grocery store. Hey, that was big news. I'm surrounding by 1000s of acres of corn and soybeans fields. The only down side is that my wife's family all live in Texas. But we make it work.

Nice to be here. Be sure to visit my impending Grow Journal.
