    Default What's causing this ?

Hi all, my new plants are about 2 weeks old now, two days ago I potted them up into 15l pots with biobizz all mix, only feeding water at the moment but just noticed aittle burn at the end of the leaf, and on my other 1 plant which is quite abit older the new leafs are going really light on the ends. Any ideas ? Click image for larger version.

I would guess the biobizz is too hot for them just now perhaps?

your soil looks bone dry at the top, how much water are you adding and how often are you watering them?

Yeah they are due a water tomorrow, I'm adding just plain water at the moment, not sure how much I'm given them just go by eye, then let it dry out and repeat normally about every 2/3 days or so

when the top inch of soil is bone dry you should really be watering them in, will help establish your girls especially since you just potted them up

i really wouldn't worry about the slight leaf curling, i know the feeling being new grower and panicking over every aspect of your grow
they look happy enough, leaves arent curling up or turning yellow/necrotic

the larger fan leaves are flat, opened fully and look super healthy, could raise your light up slightly your planrs take time to get used to heat and so much direct light, especially the new growth at the very top,

we all garden differently and you'll soon find your groove LM

Thanks monster, how much water would you give them? Would you do it until they is run off or is it to early for that? They are in 15l pots now

i pot up slower than you though, i find it helps better establish the roots when i do it that way, that's probably just me lol
1lt>3lt>6.5lt>11lt the size doubles each time, after the plants are 2-4 weeks old i water very slowly until i know i have soaked the soil, that can be anything from 1lt-5lt of water
usually after 2-3 days they are getting light when i lift the pots to check the weight so i water again,

as i said we all do it differently and you'll eventually find what works best for you and your girls,
can always read threw a finished soil diary, there'll be loads of tips in those if ya interested in that
