*update* day 24 of flower. switched to plant level elevators with nice holes for airflow and a tray at the bottom of the planters. feeding just enough for a few drops of run off once a week with fert and hitting it with 1 tablespoon molasses and 1tablespoon per gal seaweed every water in between feedings. nothing much else going on. learning as I go. Little update. Slight problem I’ve noticed. Not sure if it’s a nitrogen deficiency? Or potassium or magnesium? I’m leaning towards nitrogen deficiency can anybody correct or help identify the issue at hand? Yellowing of the leaves seems to be going from the bottom to the top and I remember reading somewhere that certain deficiencies act like this. There’s also a little rust color appearing on some leaves. Temps are 78-80 degree and 50 humidity. Currently at 4 weeks of flower. Click image for larger version.

Before I give you my OPINION, please note most of the time it usually clashes with the general consensus of the growing community. With that said...

It does look like your nitrogen reserve is getting low and your plant is starting to pull what it needs from your fan leaves. This early in flower I would be inclined to give it one more low dose of organic fertilizer(preferably in the 3-1-0 range) and then let her go. I tell myself that I'm growing for the flower and not the leaves as it makes me feel better about my lackadaisical approach. In another week or two your flowers will have become self sustaining and the fans will not be nearly as important as they once were. As they become fully faded remove them allowing light to reach new areas of your growing flowers. I actually prefer when my plants fully fade just before harvest as I feel it produces a smoother smoke. Keep a keen eye on your flowers and if they continue to grow and mature then you should be good regardless of the status of your leaves. When trying to keep a dying plant healthy you run the risk of over doing it which can lead to the plant reverting back to veg to burn off the access nitrogen, the flowers becoming stressed resulting in a crunchy like state, foxtailing, trichomes that won't mature, hermaphrodites, etc. Cannabis plants are annuals and are meant to die after flower, don't stress the yellow during flower.

Again, above is just my opinion. If you do decide to feed nitrogen to the end, I recommend going very light and backing off as soon as you start to see any sign of dark green.

Hope your harvest is a great one!

    Hi,

I see extremity of your leafs are yellow even little brown. Do you watter often ? If you give enough nutrients maybe roots are not happy. Just my thought

week 5 of flower. the left plant in the front looks to be a lot farther ahead than the rest. the one in the back right seems to be fat stacking colas. the one in the back left and front right are slowly but surely developing. pretty interesting to see the two beach buds (front left and back right )vs the goji margy. (front right and back left) the front left seems to be developing purple like color. the one in the middle is a GMO early in flower in a smaller pot. all in all i think we are looking good here. thanks for looking.Click image for larger version.

nearing the end of week 6 flower. Ok so....the front left beach bud seems to be getting close to being finished? Fully fading,50-60% red hairs...40-50% cloudy tricomes...The back right seems to be far behind and stacking way bigger bugs. Im actually kindve disappointed in the yield of the front left beach bud. But I do remind myself its my first grow. Hopefully improve as times goes on. I am completely new to growing yet i have tinkered a little here and there. But i have never fully committed like I have here from start to hopefully finish. Im familiar with curing trimming and drying or atleast i Hope....keyword is HOPE here. How long do you reckon before i chop the one that is obviously leaps ahead of the others? Back right plant (beach bud) seems to be the happiest. All have been treated the same. Although I will say I have tinkered with that plant in particular the least because of its positiong and Ive noticed is has been the healthiest. Weird. The Goji margy front right and back left seem to be doing ok. The GMO in the middle is stacking on weight and has a ways to go. THanks for looking. Click image for larger version.
