Default how to fix root bound plants without transplanted.

had an issue with 4 white widow plants not flowering after 9 weeks, and 3 nothern lights that was flowering, but very slowly, i called a botanis freind of mine. this is what she did, inspide of my terror..she took a sheet rock saw, cut straight down about 2 inches from the stalk, and cut all the way around the plant at an angle...she said the roots that were cut will just die and decompose, and the other roots would let the plant grow, i was horrifed i would loose the plants, well its been three days and the plantd are doing excellent. they were 3 gallon pots, im going to 5 gallon buckets after this crop...hope it may help someone.....

Some good ol' root pruning! Yearly maintenance on bonsai trees.

You don't by chance have some before and after shots do you? I've seen it done on some micro, solo cup, grows but never on a full sized plant.

    Cool stuff man.

bro i dont see any signs of flowering andits been 9 weeks?? you should be finishing now near enough with a modern non full sativa strain..
you not just growing them from seed hoping for flowers are you?
the light cycle should be 12/12 to flower
im sorry if that sounds ridiculous to be told, but i dont think i would of known if i never researched.

i just recently has a barneys blue cheese turn out to be autoflower when i bought photo period.. so you cant always trust it,,
i can guarantee you that in 4 weeks you will be wasting your time to chop them...

do yourself a favour and stick them on 12/12 now and leave it... ( 12 hours of complete darkness 12 of light )
forget about reveging it as I see no bud to reveg... thats a fully vegative plant i see in your photo

if you trust me here your not going to regret it. ( 8 years experaince talking to you. ) (or ask some other people on the board who you trust no what they are talking about vbecause they should tell you exactly the same )
i guarantee in 2 weeks you will see big changes... even if its a autoflower it wont hurt it to be 12/12 i had autos run along side me photos previosly.

best wishes buddy dont stress it its not hard at all,.
