Short answer: No.
Long answer: No, lighting hours don't work that way.
The 12/12 schedule is what triggers to plant to flower, going to 18/6 tells the plant to come out of flowering and go back into growing. Simply put.
Tricking the plant to "finish faster" affects potency. "Unripe" buds can lead to paranoia so the action to force ripening could lead to more harm than good.
Unless you actually want weak, para causing 'erb.

You can go to the amount of hours that you would have at, say the middle of September, which is closer to 14 hours of light. 12/12 is just easier. Especially if you're stoned (math).
