Have you seen those Venus Optics Laowa 24mm? The take shots that are entirely unmatched... by patent!

I just googled the Venus Optics Laowa 24mm, absolutely crazy good. Impressed.

I was thinking, the detail is so clear on your pics barney, you could literally use it to check your tricomes for maturity lol.

Kind of your friend, and has allowed you to learn this very well, and show us all the possibilities.

I'm not in love with this one. Might just be the edit. Might be the angle. Maybe the lighting. Learning out loud.

Will keep fiddling with it. I've never actually learned to use the Adobe Suite. Just guessing.

There is nothing my eyes involuntarily focus on in this picture _b. They wander back and forth in search of a place to start. It may just be the ratio of plant to background.

I agree with you. It's not a settling image at all. I think the composition needs more work. Thank you for the feedback, S&S.

Is it because there's no depth of field? I think the denseness of the plant means there's not enough black showing through which means your eyes can't work out the depth of the plant as there's too few visual cues for the brain to work it out?

I'm thinking maybe I need some back lighting or side lighting to fix that. In fact....

I think this is the the key. Lack of depth due to lighting. That makes a flat image and your eyes can't find an anchor.

This is all wonderful feedback gentlemen and I greatly appreciate your input. Sincerely, thank you for taking the time to critique.

I'll give it another go tonight.
