Default Unanswered: Nutrient res draining itself

Hi all I’m after a little help of anyone could she any light. So here goes.

I have a 220ltr flexi tank which I use to feed my girls with. In the tank I have a 1500lph pump to pump the nutes and a powerhead to keep the nutrients mixed. I have 13mm feed From the pump to a non return valve then to a inline filter then it goes to a 8 way 4mm dripper manifold with two feeds to each pot.

Now when I make my nutes up on the night and get it stabilised and ph to where I need it, to then come back in the morning to check ph to see if it’s had a swing to then see the res has emptied almost half if not more. This has happened twice this week already.

No water on the floor no leaks anywhere I just can’t get my head around it.

Any ideas help advice light shining highly appreciated as it’s costing me a fortune in nutrients.

    Thanks

    Frosty

Do you have a check valve breaking the siphon from the tank?

You said it had halfed, has it settled at pot level?

It has a non return valve so no siphon can be caused to drain the tank.

Possible at pot level to I’ll have to check

    Thanks

Its siphoning off somehow...I had my setup automated at one point but went back to hand watering run to waste in coco. keep it simple if you can, it's a lot less hassle in the long run..

Its no hardship really, takes me around 10 minutes to do 8 plants, 2 to 3 litres per plant once a day. You got better control over how much each plant gets too = less waste

It’s true cheers buddy. The main reason I went automation was for ease and the kids being here and keep asking why I’m going to my shed lol.

    Thanks frosty
