    Default Ready?

Hi so I’m nearly at the end of week 9 of flowering . White widow dutch passion photoperiod. Now this is my second grow and im not sure if shes ready. Ive got four of them, I took one to the closet yesterday to leave it in complete darkness for about 2-3 days and then harvest. As for the rest of them I think I’d give them one more week. Anyways I’m not sure if that was the right call, maybe I should throw her back to the tent and keep her under light little longer. I think she’s lost a bit of smell and I think some trichomes are turning amber however while other hmm…can’t tell if they are cloudy or still clear and that’s why I’m confused wether to keep her longer under light or just chop her tomorrow.

Hey ReggieD, looking nice and frosty with you. The only real way to know for sure is to check trichomes on the buds, (not leaves), with a loupe/microscope, I like to use at least 60x magnification

If I already have had her without light for nearly 20hrs and I’d have to put her back to tent under light would that harm her ?

I’ve got jewellers lupe 60x and I’m not sure definitively there are amber trichomes but the rest I just can distinguish if they are cloudy or clear.

If your in doubt leave them another couple of days and check again, the ambers really stand out from the rest.

Hmm the only problem is that I took her out to the closet and shes been there 20hrs with no light already so not sure if putting her back to the tent under light wouldn’t harm her ?

You can put her back under the light. A little darkness won't hurt. She was still doing her thing in the dark.
Give her a little food and keep on trucking. During hurricane Laura my girls went 3 whole days without light
but they bounced back in no time.
