Default Increase lighting after flip to flower?

Is it good practice to leave the lighting at 12/12 after the pistils have appeared and establish or is it better to revert to 18/6 as long as the pistils are firmly established. It is often said that the flowering stage needs max light so why does nobody mention switching back to 18/6 or more? Will they hermie or re-veg or what?

    Thanks,

    Jack

I'm no expert but i believe the plant will think it should veg. 12/12 is mimicking the shortening hours of sunlight so the plant knows it should flower.

I keep all my photoperiods on 12/12 throughout flowering. I will however give my plants as much light intensity as they can handle during peak flowering.

Photos will reveg @ 18/6. Most light you can give them and keep them in Flower is 13/11, but I have done that and didn't notice any difference, so better to just keep them on the 12 12 schedule. JMO

I've seen some folks grow under 11on/13off with incredibly high DLI and CO2 injection. Never above 12 hours of light after flip though.

    Cheers

A lot will go to 13/11, some will go 14/10 - but why take chances?

They need 10 hours of uninterrupted darkness to maintain flowering.

I was thinking about trying 13/11 like @George mentioned.

I don't expect it to make a difference to gross weight I'm thinking about it for a bid to speed up finishing time?
