    Default THCTalk Chilli Comp 2023 (Sponsored By Herbies)

    Welcome to the THCTalk 2023 chilli comp.

    In Association with Herbies Seeds




    A nice and simple competition:

    Grow some chilli plants either indoors or out. Document the progress of your grow during the season in this thread then choose and post a photo of your final entry before the closing date remembering to include a sign with THCTalk.com, your username, date and (strain of plant if possible) of the plant you wish to enter.

    The closing date will be the 31st August 2023 when a voting poll will be created to see who's chilli plant is considered to be the best.


    Rules...

    The comp is open to all but you must post regular pics in here during the course of the season so we can monitor the progress.

    You can grow as many plants as you like. Your plants can be from seed or small shop bought plants. No overwintered plants from last season.

    I would love to grow some chilli plants,but I haven't figured out how to smoke them. Lol

    My seeds are not germing. I just ordered another batch. Gonna be a late start for me.

    Basket of fire & Bolivian Rainbow...

    My plants are coming along nicely. One of the plants is showing signs of deformation/mutation but I'll leave it to see how it gets on.

    The two smaller seedlings actually sprouted up in the pot from a plant that I was overwintering..

    I tried growing some a while back but I got lazy and they only appeared to grow to the size of 5 pence piece, but they died before really finishing. I think I have some lemon chillis so I'll chuck some in and see if I can do better. My tent will be on 12/12 soon, is that ok to grow in form start to finish?

    Got mine under a 250w CFL in a makeshift grow box along with some lobelia, pertunia and tomato seedlings..

    Coming along nicely..

    I've got spider mites. Not sure how to start these safely until I deal with the mites.
