Illinois grower looking forward to growing again!

Hello, I subscribed a few years ago but recently posted for the first time this past month.

I am an old school grower who first ventured into growing in the late 1980s with the first plant turning out to be a male.

I am an occasional user now with the last time during New Years weekend which was over 2-months ago. Typically, I go through less than 2 ounces per year with the majority coming during the holidays. I grow when the grass gets low, lol, and haven't bought any since the early 1990s. I am about to try feminized seeds for the first time as I have been using old generation 1 seeds purchased from Europe/Canada for the last few decades. With the Blue Berry and White Widow running out I am looking forward to the new generation of growing and to increase my stock of herb this coming summer.

I do have a past plant science college degree though I haven't worked as a horticulturist in over 20-years. Looking forward to starting an outside grow-up post when the weather gets warm in a couple months!
