    I take the main stems horizontally until other stems are past them, that's usually enough. I remove them for watering and it seems to help keep each in her own rectangular half. I can also turn them round once in a while, the stems against the wall support themselves pretty well.
    Height is rarely a problem even with a stool under the pots and an oversized carbon filter above the light, but I stick to indica strains and hit them with light 24/7. I think that helps keep them low, but it's mainly because I don't have a timer.
