Default Making new autoflower feminized seeds

Has anyone tried making the new feminized seeds? Using KC (colloidal silver)
My plan is to try to make RQS Green Gelato seeds. First grow one feminized seed and spray him with the solution and when happen to get male sex organs and to get some pollen. After to pollunate another female.

I recently learned not to go too mad with the silver, when you see pistils, just give a little spray every day until you see little balls. Apparently too much silver can give you non viable and underproduced seeds.

    Good luck with your adventure.

Spraying a fixed side or area of your plant (20%) every day is a better way to get solid seeds and avoid the issue of not getting viable seeds.

Oh definitely, I wouldn't spray the entire plant.

be aware that using colloidal silver to produce feminized seeds can sometimes result in hermaphroditic plants, so it is important to monitor your plants closely during the process

TLDR, don't breed with feminised seeds, in whatever way, shape, or form.

IMO Spraying a plant from a feminised seed for pollen to make seeds with a feminised mother plant is very likely to lead to hermies.

What's more, we don't need any more of that hermie-ism to add to the gene pool. All it takes is for someone to "feed birds" with those excess seeds, even from ONE pollination, and before you know it hermie pollen is in the air, and soon enough someone else's guerrilla grow gets a few seeds, they go, "oh I got free seeds!" and they chuck that in the forest again, and that becomes a genetic nightmare.

    Please don't.

OTOH Spraying a female REGULAR plant for pollen to pollinate another REGULAR female plant and you might have a better success. And even then, please don't breed from fem seeds.

Seriously, please don't breed from fem seeds. If you want to breed, do it with Regular seeds. Sensi, Mr Nice, Seedsman all do regular seeds and they have many strains to choose from.

Bought some matanuska thunder FEMS from RQS, got 100% males. That was my first and last time with RQS. We have a thread for autoflowers that didn't flower, its mostly made up of RQS. Although, I dont think its been added to in a couple years.
