    Default New grow

    Hi everyone,

Haven’t been here for awhile but just started new grow, I’m doing 6 autos now.
I’ve just converted my closet for a little grow room, area 90cmx70cmx2m.
Now I’ve got few questions regarding the setup. For the past 4-5 days I’ve kept my seedlings under T5 24w light 24/0hrs (I’m only using this light for seedlings) today I moved them to the closet under led light. My led is Lumatek ats 300w now:

    1. Should I run it on full strength from start to finish or just start of 25% than 50% and then in the mid of grow (5-6) weeks full strength ?
    2. I keep my light currently at 25%, 12 inches from my seedlings, that ok?
    3. If I’ve been keeping them under that 24w light 24/0hr and now when I moved them under LED, can I change the schedule for 20/4?

    Thanks

Whoa easy George don't overwhelm him lol

I'm not an led man myself but I reckon you won't go far wrong doing what your doing until someone can sort you out.

You can definitely switch to 20/4 though, plants will thank you for it. I'm running 18/6 for the first time ever, saves on electric and gives the plants a good chance to do what they do.

    Good luck mate.

let your plants use the nutes in the soil before adding feed imo, then start feeding when they ask for it.

Right I got them on 20/4 just wasn’t sure about it as I ran them on that weaker bulbs 24hrs so I was worried that by reducing the time I might mess them up but they only seedlings and the other light was just 24w just to get seedlings going so should be ok. Can anyone recommend at what intensity I should run them. So far I’ve got my led at 25%

Keeping the LED light at 25% intensity and 12 inches from the seedlings sounds reasonable
